Just what exactly is this?

YouLookGoodTogether.com is a dating website that matches people based on how they look together, and you do the matching! Anyone (including you) can upload a picture of themselves, then our system randomly shows their picture next to someone within their specified geographical area (within X miles of them). Our site visitors (or you) then VOTE on whether or not the two people look good together. If enough people vote "Yes", then our system emails the two people and tells them that they've been matched and gives them the chance to contact one another to meet.

How many times can I get matched?

Our system keeps showing your picture till you tell us to stop. Then it just depends on whether people vote "Yes" that you look good together!

Can I change my picture?

Sure, just log in to your account and click the "view profile" link at the top of the page. There you'll find a button to click that lets you upload a new picture. You can only upload one picture at a time though, so your old picture will be deleted if you upload a new one.

Will I Get Flooded With Matches From People I'm Not Attracted To?

No! When enough people vote that you "look good with someone" our system will send you a message that you can view from your profile message center. It will show you a picture of the person you've been matched with and a button that you can click if you agree to message that person directly. There's also a rejection button if you don't like what you see. If you click it, the other person won't be able to contact you and you won't be able to contact them. The same thing happens to the other person. If you both agree to contact each other, you'll be able to message each other from your member message system. That way you aren't flooded with messages from people who you aren't attracted to.

Looks... really?

Why not? Be honest with yourself...don't you usually pick someone based on their looks? I mean, really. Personality certainly plays a key part, but at the end of the day you really decide initially whether to go out with someone because you're attracted to them. Our website just formalizes the process!

What is CrowdSourced Matchmaking?

These days everything is being "crowdsourced", why not crowdsourced matchmaking? We think there's real power in averages, or "the aggregate". One person making a decision tends to do a bad job...but put a bunch of people together, and on the average they do a pretty good job! Have you ever been to a county fair where you guess the weight of a cow to win a prize? Individually people don't get very close to guessing the weight, but oddly enough - if you take the average of everyone's combined guesses, it's usually within a pound or two of the cow's weight. It's powerful stuff and we think it works in matchmaking just like in aggregate guessing systems.

Is this really free?

Absolutely. It's completely free to sign up and upload your picture, and it's free to vote on couples as much as you want. We'll be rolling out a few pay features in the weeks that come for people who, for instance, want to upload a picture of themselves AND their significant other to see if the world thinks you two look good together as a couple (instead of randomly matching you with strangers), and other small things like that. Don't worry, we won't be charging much for things like that - maybe a couple bucks or so. And the core features of the site will always be free.

Sure do, it's right here. You should read it and subcribe for free. We talk about the site, the dating industry as a whole, give dating tips and advice, and all kinds of other stuff. It may just be the most amazing thing you've ever read...or not, but it's still fun.

We're Introz, Inc. Get it? Introz...Introductions....matchmaking...online dating...pretty clever right? We're located in downtown Chicago. Christy's a lawyer with tons of cool business ideas and John's an Entrepreneur/Web Developer who can't stop building stupid internet projects. This is just our first website together but we've got a bunch more coming out very soon and they're all related to online dating and matchmaking in different weird and interesting ways.
